Full Description

No 36 Brunt Street and Grove House (Parish Church Hall). An L-shaped group of adjoining buildings, generally C18 and early C19, but the earliest part considered C16 or earlier, and retaining some oak panelling. (1)
No. 36 Grove House … The main block is C18 … Its façade, away from the street, moved forward in the C19 … Also early C19 the short wings on this side and the r. wing … At the back a basically timber framed wing (C16?) on a stone plinth, cased in C18 brick. (2)
Demolished in 1977. (3)
