Full Description

Ridge and furrow with tracks in a large pasture field E of Carlton Hall Farm. Mounds and hollows, with building platforms, in fields around the church. N-S bank runs across E side of churchyard. Dry stream channel with nearby earthworks. (1)
It would appear that the village was moved to the S side of the stream, probably during the C18, to clear the area between the Hall and the church. (4)
