Full Description

Watermill shown. (1) (2)
In 1881 when it was for sale it had 2 pairs of French stones, 1 pair of grey stones and a dresser. No other details known except it that it straddles the river Erewash. Converted to steam by 1888 (gives list of millers). (3)
Poorly treated mill building. Pebbledashed and painted with a concrete tile roof. Surrounded on all sides by modern extensions. In use as a club. Nearby at SK 4871 3760 are what seem to be mill workers' cottages. The mill race has been entirely erased. (4)
