Full Description

Alexandra Lodge Gate is of 1878, a gatehouse with a half timbered stage over the Gothic entrance arch. (1)
Pair of lodges flanking central archway. Early 1860's. By S. S. Teulon for the Tenth Duke of St. Albans. (2)
Designed in the early 1860's. Two date plaques are somewhat misleading, one is monogrammed and dated 1877, the other commemorates the naming of the building after Alexandra, Princess of Wales, on the occasion of her visit in 1878. (3)
