Full Description
The village street … is lined with small farmsteads (e.g. Laxton Bar Farm 1703). (1)
Farmhouse. Early C18, raised 1783 and extended 2 bays, C19. (2)
I assume Pevsner's date is a misreading of the datestone. (3)
The earliest surviving brick buildings in Laxton. Constructed in Flemish bond brickwork with diaper work showing on three sides, probably dates to 1703, as indicated by darker bricks I the west gable wall. (4)
