Almost every substantial house in the town was built between 1790 and c.1820 (e.g. in Westgate, Clyde House). (1)
House. Early C18 and 1789, with mid C19 additions and alterations. Late C18 garden front. (2)
Pevsner's date must refer to the garden front; I assume this was built 1789. (3)
