Full Description

House. Late C17, refronted early C19, with mid and late C19 shopfronts. (1)

C17 box-framed, close studded, rendered. (Annotated as Snaith's in JSAC's 1995 report which includes internal photos of timber frame) (2)

Dendrochronological analysis of these samples were undated. This is most probably due to the shortness of the ring-width sequences of the samples taken. This building has been dated on stylistic grounds to the seventeenth century and at the moment this is the only dating available. (3)
