Full Description

Early C17, red brick. A great deal of timber-framing, C17 or earlier, left internally, which suggests a rebuild of an earlier house, including many re-used timbers in the roof … used in their original context. (1)
Many re-used timbers dated to c.1480-1500. Date of reconstruction? c.1610. (2)
House. C16, in the main early C17 re-using some earlier materials and probably incorporating an earlier build. (3)
Timber sampling undertaken in 1988 (4).
