Pigeoncote. Mid C18. (1)
Dovecote at Serlby Hall, amongst buildings used as stables. 18th Century (Pevsner) mid 18th Century construction. Independent rectangular brick structure. Double pitched roof with pantiles. External dimensions 40ft by 20ft approx. One storey, no current use. 2500 nest holes of brick; ledges removed from first eight tiers. Stables and dovecote formerly belonged to adjoining disused manor house. Open to public once a year. (2)
