Full Description
Bridge. Early C19. Widened C20. (1)
The ferry of "Bautre across the Iddel" is mentioned in the Calendar of Inquisitions for the year 1343, and there does not appear to be any record as to when the first bridge was built. The present one, built probably during the C19, has three segmental arches spanning a distance of nearly 30yds. The roadway is 20ft wide. (2)
