Full Description
An early C18 two-storey four-bay house … Still some good C18 features inside including staircase, plasterwork, fireplace and doorcases. Extended to an irregular nine bays after 1902 and finally completely re-Georgianized by Houfton. He added new windows, doorcases, modillion cornice, the pedimented central five bays on the garden front, and the huge stone porch. (1)
Manor house. Early C18. Enlarged and altered c.1902. Further enlarged and refronted in neo-Georgian style by Houfton, c.1926. Adjoining stable range to east … [has] rainwater heads dated 1834 and 1926. Barn, 4 bays, rebuilt in facsimile, 1976. Cottage adjoining rear of house, C19. (2)
