Full Description

St Wilfrid. The present church (stone, E. E. style, with apsidal chapel and bellcote) was built in 1847 for the new parish. (1)
In 1847 the present Church … together with a parsonage was built … The Parish Church is dedicated to the Holy Trinity. It is a large rectangular building … at the east end is an apse. (2)
Built of soft Mansfield sandstone rubble with ashlar details. Commissioner's Gothic with tall lancet windows. Stained glass in apse. Parsonage demolished. (3)
