Farmstead with buildings isolated from farmhouse consisting of 1. Stone farmhouse with gabled modern tile roof and raised parpet gables with kneelers, modern windows in segmental headed openings 2. Stone and brick cowhouse with coped gabled pantile roof and kneelers and segmental headed openings 3. Stone and brick cowhouse with coped gabled pantile roof and kneelers and segmental headed openings 4. Stone barn with coped gabled slate roof and kneelers, slit breathers and segmental headed openings and crown post roof 5. Stone and brick shed with hipped steel roof 6. Stone cartshed with gabled steel roofwith coped gables and kneelers supported on cast iron columns. (2)
Farmhouse is of local coursed limestone with ashlar gable kneelers, there is a concrete tile roof with mock stone slate verge and 2 brick gable stacks. Principal block is two bays wide. There are modern windows beneath shallow segmental arches. To the right, lower two storey block, with a third brick gable stack, with altered windows above a projecting porch and to the left a board door beneath a shallow segmental arch. Subsidiary features: the farmhouse is fronted by a limestone wall with flat copings. A machine threshing barn, building local limestone with ashlar gable kneelers and a slate roof. East elevation has central threshing doors beneath a segmental arch. To either side, loft openings beneath segmental arches. West elevation, largely obscured by modern covered crew yard, contains smaller machine threshing door. South gable end contains symmetrical arrangement and seven slit breathers. (3)
