Farmstead named. (1)
Farmstead with buildings and farmhouse formally related to farmyard consisting of 1. Red brick Farmhouse, rendered to side facing yard, with hipped slate roof, brick string course, sash and casement windows and recessed arch feature to the centre. Symetrical projecting wing on either side 2. Brick stable range with granary above, hipped slate roof and hit and miss windows. External brick staircase. To the south of range is an extra brick storey probbaly containing water tank, with a pyramidal slate roof and a distinctive bond of brickwork. Outside door to south is a double sided mounting block. 3. Brick range with hipped slate roof and gable adjoining barn containing cowhouse and stable, boarded windows and cast iron downpipes. 4. Red brick barn with large sliding doors and cartshed of four bays adjoining with brick dividing columns, above cartshed are a further four large openings. Possibly a model farm with links to the Welbeck Estate. (2)
