Full Description

Named 'Ranby Cottage'. (1)
A large farmstead with two quads. The south quad features a farmhouse, stables, dovecote, and a barn with a lean-to shed. To the south of this is a workers' cottage. The north quad is fronted by a granary over cartsheds and a second shed range; the rest of the quad was not examined. All buildings were of brick with pantile roofs; the farmhouse has been rendered. Early-19th Century farmhouse and barn range, primarily red brick with pantile roofs; farmhouse in rendered and has a symmetrical façade, rendered, some timber joinery; unusual curved barn at north end of site. (4)
