Named 'Assarts'. (1)
Farmstead arranged around a yard consisting of following: 1. Stone stable with hipped modern tile roof and fixed casements and hit and miss windows in segmental headed window openings. 2. Stone Shed froming part of crew yard, with modern tile roof and slit breathers. 3. Stone Barn with hipped modern tile roof and slit breathers. Internally has cobbled flooring and crown post roof. 4. Stone threshing barnwith slate tile hipped roof and slit breathers. Internally has crown post roof. 5. Red brick and stone barn with modern tile hipped roof. 6. Stone pigsty with pantile hipped roof and fixed casements windows. 7. Stone farmhouse with hipped slate roof and modern uPVC and wooden windows. (2)
Of coursed local limestone. Barn has slate roof -NE elevation contains central threshing door, flanked on first floor by loft openings. Narrow slit breathers. SW elevation is obscured by modern covered crew yard. Attached to SE, cart shed has concrete tile roof and SW elevation has two ashlar pillars, with openings infilled with brick. Blank NE elevation. Stable range is attached at right angles to enclose the crew yard and has a roof of half concrete tile and half slate -the concrete tile side is in good order but the slate section of the rood features some very crude repairs.
