Full Description

Two step octagonal base surmounted by octagonal plinth. Tapering shaft and gabled Latin cross. Shield with red painted Greek cross at top in relief on front face. Inscriptions engraved on for sides of plinth and second step, highlighted in black paint, bearing the names of WW1 & 2 veterans. Constructed of granite, approx 6M in height.

Set overlooking the main road within a council maintained cemetery away from the centre of the village. Some vehicular access to cemetery though only crude dirt banks leading up bank to memorial. (1)
