Full Description

Hall and park shown on Chapman's map of 1774, details of park with tree planting and lodges on Sanderson 1835. Throsby says "The front, you approach by a spacious lawn ... Some of the views from the terrace over the little stream, are charming and delightful to the eye" The Hall, of 1751-77 and later, is listed grade I, garden arch grade II*, estate cottages, stables, lodges, tennis pavilion, bridges, icehouse, memorial, boathouse, garden seat and pigeoncote all grade II.
