Full Description
Hall and park shown on Chapman's map of 1774, Hall and park with details on Sanderson 1835. Throsby says the hall "is seated in a park of considerable antiquity; but it has been long destitute of what principally constitutes a park, deer." The Hall was demolished in 1952. Repton thought to have been involved in park design. SMR records park pale, and some earthworks of unconfirmed origin. (1)
See M18022 for site of Grove Hall, M5164 for park pale.
