Full Description

Headon Hall and grounds shown on Chapman's map of 1774, hall with avenues on Sanderson 1835, school and Headon Wood in 1890. Throsby says "The mansion house ... situated in the centre of a small park ... was pulled down about a year ago. It was pleasantly seated and well wooded." . (1)
