Full Description

House in enclosure with trees shown on Sanderson's map of 1835. Throsby says "George Aldrich MD… laid out the wood advantageously, and finished the whole uniformly in the year 1778. The house stands upon a gentle rise of ground, commanding a variety of views, which include a number of objects that contribute to pleasure." The site is now under a mine tip. (1)
