Park shown on Chapman's map of 1774, and Sanderson 1835. Throsby mentions Lord Howe's "extensive wood estate, in what is called the park." Still wooded? (1)
First mention of Epperstone Park is in 1330 (Cal Pat 1330-4, 16) - John Tibetot, licence to impark. (5)
