Full Description

House shown on Chapman's map of 1774, not clear on Sanderson 1835. Throsby says "This dwelling, from the late improvements in and about it, has a pleasing appearance, and the pleasure grounds possess neatness." The hall, of 16th and 18th centuries, is listed grade II*, lodge, gate piers, converted cottage and ornamental wall all listed grade II. (1)
