Full Description

House shown on Chapman's map of 1774, "Priory" with lakes on Sanderson, 1835. Throsby says "It is prettily diversified with wood and water" and describes the ponds and island. The house, which incorporates fragments of the monastic buildings, is listed grade ll*. (1)
