Full Description
House and grounds shown on Chapman's map of 1774, the Hall with trees on Sanderson 1835. Throsby says "Stapleford Hall has recently been rebuilt ... It is at present unadorned with no field beauties of attraction; but the young plantations, around, are pleasing indications of what maybe." The hall has been demolished and the grounds built over.
