Just a small part of the Park at Hardwick Hall falls in Nottinghamshire.

Dovedale Woods depicted in Sanderson (2) borders Lady Spencer's Walk (Hardwick Hall). Woods may preserve Medieval landscape (ridge-and-furrow visible in woods in Lidar 1m DTM).

Landscape park and gardens to Hardwick Hall. The park is thought to have Medieval origins and was extended in 1665-66. The gardens include walled gardens with features which include pavilions and a gatehouse. These were probably designed by Robert Smythson during the 1590s and partly remodelled in the late 17th century. (3)
