Full Description

A large enclosure ditch of Romano-British date was encountered in the south-western corner of the development. In trench 14, sufficient work was undertaken to establish that the linear feature was of probably Romano-British date as its fill contained pottery dating to the 2nd-4th century. Trench 19 contained part of the same enclosure ditch with pottery dating from the mid/late 1st century to the early 2nd century. The feature extended and curved to the north and was found in the excavated area. It's fill here contained pottery from 1st to 4th century. (1)
