Full Description

Remains of possible metalled surfaces, recorded on both High Street and Horsewells Street. Few datable finds were recovered, and no reliable dates can be given for the construction of these surfaces. On High Street, all deposits were between 70mm and 220mm thick and contained a very high proportion of similar sized cobbles. (1)
