Full Description

Five small pits or postholes across the excavation area produced medieval pottery, although the apparent dating evidence may have been residual in some cases. Pottery ranged in date from 12th to 15th century. Medieval pottery (12th to 14th century) was also recovered from the large channel feature which could represent its final fills as it silted up after the Roman period. Medieval pottery, either intrusive or residual, was recovered from various other fills across the site. (1)
See MNT26980 for channel and MNT26987 for medieval well.
