Abstract/Summary

Report on a scheme of archaeological mitigation, consisting of a combined programme of strip, map and record and archaeological monitoring, was carried out in advance of a proposed residential redevelopment of land at Platts Orchard, Church Street, Southwell. Significant features identified include a large channel, Roman and Medieval features.
