Full Description

40m of a 4m wide,possibly post-medieval trackway aligned north-south revealed in watching brief during works to new amphibian ponds. It consisted mostly of crushed and broken limestone, and gravels, with light brown and dark grey silts between the stones. The track is of rough construction and possibly relates to the creation or expansion of the existing pond area. (1)
