Abstract/Summary
Archaeological watching brief during works to new amphibian ponds revealed 40m of a 4m wide post-medieval trackway aligned north-south. It consisted mostly of crushed and broken limestone, and gravels, with light brown and dark grey silts between the stones. The track is of rough con-struction and possibly relates to the creation or expansion of the existing pond area.
