Full Description

On the east side of the doorway to The Bread Bin, a small brick foundation was seen 0.45m below the road surface. 0.24m wide, aligned north-south. Bricks measured 240mm x 117mm x 55mm and bonded with cream coloured mortar. 0.25m high. To the east of the wall was a corresponding thickness of black ashy material and clay roof-tile fragments. Interpreted as part of a cess pit in front of the building. (1)
