Full Description
House, built in red brick with decorative buff headers in Flemish bond to front elevation. Pantile roof with 2 gable end stacks and dentil eaves. Rubbed brick arches over the windows and central door, the headers over the windows have been painted. Windows are now C20 replacement timber casements. (NCC J Buckley 2020 observations from Street View image dated 2011)
Single storey stable range. Replacement roof with concrete tiles on the rear face. Brick kneelers. To the front elevation there are 2 stable doors and 4 windows with top louvre openings under true brick arches. Roof ventilation was deemed to be the most effective way of ventilating stables and the louvre windows stopped drafts on the horses' backs. Casement window to gable end under a timber lintel. (NCC J Buckley 2020 observations from Street View image dated 2011)
