Full Description

Two ditches were exposed; one on a c. NE-SW alignment and another on a slightly different ENE-WSW alignment, projected to intercept to the east of the trench. Both contained single fills of brownish grey gravel and sandy silt, devoid of artefacts. Cut into the top of these backfilled ditches was a possible kiln (see MNT27622) (1)
