Full Description

Partially exposed discrete pits; the largest at 3m wide and had a wide flat base and steep sides. A small pit (or possible gully terminus) also had a flat central base with vertical sides. The other pit in this area, 1.50m across and 0.32m deep, also displayed a flat wide base. The fills of each of the three pits were all similar grey silty sands with gravel inclusions, all undated.
