Full Description

It contained a single fill (804) of reddish-brown sandy silt, from which two sherds of 13th – 15th century pottery and a fragment of ceramic roof tile dating from the 14th – 16th century was recovered. Cut through the subsoil would suggest this ditch is post-medieval – early modern in date (1).
