Full Description

Hollow way skirting around the west and north sides of a mound in Thieves Wood. It appears to be a continuation of a routeway that runs through Nomanshill Wood to the SW which still survives as a path on the modern mapping. The U-shaped profile indicates it would have been able to accommodate wheeled traffic. It is clearly visible on the Lidar imagery. It appears to join the former route of the A60 in the NE. (1)
