Full Description

A shallow rectlinear earthwork was identified in the northwest corner of Area 3. It was recorded on the 1st edition OS map although not labeled suggesting it was of an earlier construction. The shallow bank and ditch earthwork that now remains was not easy to find despite the lack of overlying vegetation. Overall, this roughly square enclosure measured 145m wide with a possible entrance visible in the northern corner.
