Full Description
Linear and curvilinear anomalies identified during gradiometer survey. The anomalies are 2 m wide and connect to likely form the eastern half of an enclosure that continues to the west outside the survey extents, orientated north-east to south-west. The southern limb is 37 m long before being diverted 70 m north and finally back 28 m west. Both the northern and southern extents of the larger anomaly have additional, parallel linear anomalies orientated in the same alignment.
Immediately north is a two-pronged, strongly positive linear anomaly. It is 2 m wide and runs roughly parallel to the northern limb across the entire width of the survey area, orientated north-west to south-east. This anomaly is likely a ditch-like feature associated with the enclosure directly south. A penannular anomaly appears attached to the northern side. This anomaly has a 30 m diameter and has generated relatively weak magnetic properties in comparison to the others. It is possible that this anomaly is representative of a ring ditch. An additional, strongly positive linear anomaly has been located at the north-western end of a similar width orientated north-east to south-west.
