Full Description

The ditch aligned north/south, was located in the northern end of an evaluation. It measured 0.51m wide by 0.1m deep with concave sides and a concave base. The single fil comprised mid grey brown silty clay and contained no finds. The alignment of the ditch is parallel to the current field boundary, approximately 30m to the east. The ditch is likely associated with the agricultural landscape.

The ditch is likely mirroring the alignment and closely relating to boundaries shown on historical mapping from 1841.
