Full Description

A small pit. It contained forty-three sherds from a single black-glazed earthenware jug of mid 16th to mid 17th century date. The glaze on this vessel has crawled during firing and is spalling but the vessel has been used for water or urine containment as evidenced by a thick internal white deposit.
