Full Description

In the north west corner of the survey area, and continuing somewhat to the south east in a broad band, there are a series of linear trends, and one weak spread of material of possible archaeological origin. These trends and spreads are discontinuous but possibly relate to the enhanced fills of features containing archaeological deposits, based on their magnetic characteristics and their lack of correlation with the current or historic landscape organisation. Their weak and discontinuous nature makes it difficult to reach a conclusion about their date or function, but they are more likely to be field boundaries and enclosures of indeterminate date.
