Full Description

The arrangement of four pits or post-holes is interestingly in a quadrangle formation, with two of the features containing the ends of wooden posts or stakes, indicating that perhaps all of these features originally had posts, where they could have been spaced equidistantly, and could have been for a small animal enclosure or shed. One fill dates one of the post-holes to the Post-Medieval Period, and possibly then dates the others if they are associated with a small structure.
