Full Description

In the north-east corner of the site, close to the east boundary, a 1m diameter brick-built Victorian well was exposed when its domed concrete cap was removed by machine. The well had been backfilled with a friable fine (possibly graded) demolition rubble, possibly just before the tarmac had been laid.
