Three trenches revealed features which were more difficult to interpret, each corresponding to linear geophysical anomalies. There is a possibility that these features represent heavily disturbed archaeology, though a natural interpretation cannot be discounted. The alignments of these features may suggest that they formed part of a wider field system, rather than further foci of activity.

One evaluation trench contained a single linear feature aligned south-west to north-east. It measured 0.67m wide and up 0.34m deep, with a very irregular profile. Its single fill contained no finds. It was unclear if the feature was natural or archaeological in origin, though at least some natural disturbance appears likely.

A second trench targeted a relatively long linear geophysical anomaly. The only feature identified was a possible shallow gully, measuring up to 0.52m wide and 0.05m deep. No finds were recovered from its single fill. It was unclear whether the feature was the cause of the geophysical anomaly.

These two trenches may in particular represent disturbed archaeology.

A third evaluation trench is not so certain. This trench targeted a slight geophysical anomaly. The feature exposed measured 0.32m deep and 1.15m wide with a single fill. The surface appeared to have been disturbed by ploughing or burrowing and in the centre of the trench a 0.72m wide by 0.45m deep feature, which contained two sherds of 18th or 19th-century pottery in its single fill, cut through the feature. This was interpreted as further burrowing. The remaining half of the feature was then excavated in order to better determine its form and function, but unfortunately only further truncation was noted.
