A large pit was excavated towards the centre of an evaluation trench. The pit was c.2m wide and had a maximum depth of 0.70 m. A singled mottled fill was recorded, which contained frequent charcoal and inclusions. Despite the deposit containing evidence of burned material, there was no evidence of in-situ burning.

The purpose of this pit was likely to dispose of agricultural waste.
