Full Description

Rectangular enclosure with smaller one to the E. Both have entrances. Parts of 2 other enclosures to the S. 2 possible pit alignments and other linear features. Additional cropmark to NE. An enclosure with ring ditches attached ? also some linear ditches in the next field, W. (1) (2) (3)
The marks fall on level arable land that has been dragged following harvest. No surface irregularities are apparent and nothing of interest was found. (4)
Morph: 175.73.2 enclosure 175, 175.74.1 enclosure, 175.74.2 enclosure, 175.74.3 hut circle, 175.75.1 boundary, 175.75.2 boundary, 175.76.1 field boundary, 175.77.1 field system. Iron Age settlement (5)
Trench 8 - NW end of pit alignment. Alignment of three rectangular pits, and anolther pit in line. A flint artefact was recovered from pit 804, and one sherd of prehistoric pottery from pit 806. At the W limit of the trench, two features which may represent respective ditch terminals or partially exposed pits. (6)
