On AP cropmarks NW of Cromwell village in field next to disused gravel pit. Include irregular enclosure round a subrectangular enclosure as a linear ditch. Also possible hut circle in irregular enclosure and fainter circle in subrectangular one. Other features include possible pit alignment. Best photo probably DC 24 but GV 70 more complete. Pickering 70 shows more possible enclosures on linear ditch, and possible pit alignment to S. (1) (2)
(To the N of pit alignment) a square enclosure and, to the E of it, 3 intersecting rectilinear enclosures containing 2 small circles and pits. An E-W ditch links both groups. (3)
