Full Description

Linear features, probably field boundaries, enclosure to the N, possible droveway. (1)
Section cut across ditch prior to drilling operations, 1987. The ditch was visible as a band of black soil, between 2.0 and 2.50m in width. Rapid erosion and little or no maintenance suggested. No artefacts found, and dating not possible. (2)
Runs from L 4836 (NW) to L 4841 (SE). See also L 4801, cropmarks S of canal.
